| Resale & Gift Shops! NAWS just held Grand Openings for our two new resale shops in Homewood and Momence! The neat thing is that they have two very different themes! Homewood will be an upscale boutique theme and will be named Girlfriends, and Momence is in an 1800s bank, which lends itself to a General Store theme and will be named The Whole Kit and Kaboodle Country Store. All proceeds will go toward the NAWS pet rescue and charitable programs. This is a great opportunity to clean out your closets and basements to donate items for our stores, and it will be for a wonderful cause (and tax-deductible!). Illinois Law requires that pets: - Receive sufficient quantity of good quality, wholesome food and water; - Receive adequate protection and shelter from weather; - Receive veterinary care when needed to prevent suffering, and; - Receive humane care and treatment.
